To build a legacy of generational mental wellness by and with communities of color
We believe that every woman and birthing person starting with under-resourced communities of color should have access to culturally reverent peer education and support during pregnancy and postpartum.
To prevent perinatal mood disorders through peer education and support delivered by and created with communities of color
We believe that peer support should elevate, not erase the cultural practices of communities of color.
We build transformative partnerships with Federally Qualified Health Centers and Departments of Health who then refer their clients to us. We train and hire on wellness specialists to work virtually with clients once a week for 10 weeks during pregnancy and/or postpartum to hold space, share tools and tips on mental wellness, and build from clients' existing knowledge and practices.
We're currently working with our first pilot partner, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center in Alameda County, CA.
We believe that peer support can be transformative for a woman or birthing person, their child and future generations
